I've been developing an app to solve SuDoku and Killer SuDoku puzzles for several years now. With the increasing availability and use of Android-powered devices, I've recently ported the app to this platform, and it's now pretty well ready to publish on the Google Play (previously Android Market) website. There isn't much point in publishing an app like this without some degree of support, so I've set up this (PCDB Dev) website to provide that support. See what you think of it.
Peter WilesPeter has been writing software since going up to Manchester University in 1965, the first year that the University offered Computer Science as a B.Sc course. After gaining a B.Sc and M.Sc in Computer Science, he joined the British company ICL (later renamed Fujitsu Services) and worked there for 36 years, initially as a designer working on the development of the VME mainframe operating system. Later years were spent as a Systems Architect specialising in large Government and private sector customers including the DTI, European Commission, MAV (Hungarian Railways), the UK Post Office and HM Revenue & Customs. He retired from Fujitsu in 2007 and has devoted much of his time since to developing software for his own use and, more recently, to make available via the Android marketplace. Some of this software is aimed at supporting his other principal interest, sailing and maintaining his Westerly Seahawk yacht which he has recently moved to Troon in the Firth of Clyde, Scotland.
